Share my ID

Send this ID to someone so they can share a note with you. It is the only thing they need, and it is safe to send over any messaging app: it names your account and nothing else. Your notes stay encrypted.

Passkeys

Every passkey here can read all of your notes. Removing one also replaces your account key, so the device it was on stops opening anything new.

Vault PIN

A PIN adds protection if your passkey secret leaks. A six-digit PIN can still be guessed offline and is not a post-quantum-strength secret. If you forget it after every device locks, the account cannot be recovered.
